Delirium Veritatis
Critical Design Show
Delirium Veritatis addresses urgent contemporary issues such as media literacy, the influence of technology on perception, and the sociopolitical consequences of misinformation in an era where subjective realities dominate the discourse.
Through an eclectic mix of collages, art books, and an interactive game, Su challenges our approach to media and the narratives that shape our
worldview. The artworks are a visual and interactive critique of how facts are simplified and thus manipulated, and myths are constructed in our society.
Su’s collages are a striking commentary on the fractured nature of truth. By juxtaposing disparate images and texts, she creates visually arresting pieces that reflect the disorienting effect of media saturation and propaganda. These collages compel viewers to piece together their own understanding from the fragments, mirroring the challenge of discerning reality in a post-truth world.
At the heart of Delirium Veritatis are art books that weave a narrative through a series of myths and challenging truths. These books serve as both guides and riddles, exploring the creation and perpetuation of modern myths. They also examine the role of graphic design in the transfer of information, inviting readers to question the stories they accept as truths and to recognize the power dynamics involved in their
dissemination.
The exhibition features an interactive game designed to immerse participants in the complexities of post-truth and image driven contemporary information landscape. This game is not merely for entertainment; it is an experiential learning tool that exposes the mechanics of simplification of facts leading to deception. Furthermore, it brings to our attention that algorythms are meant to reinforce our political views rather than challenge them.
Kinga Su employs critical design as a methodology to provoke thought and dialogue. Her works do not just exist to be admired; they are tools for critical engagement.
The exhibition serves as a call to vigilance, urging us to question and critically engage with the world around us to uncover clarity amidst chaos and truth within delirium.

Exhibiting Artists
Kinga Su is a multi-faceted multidisciplinary Polish artist living in Strasbourg, France. Within the vast tapestry of her creative expressions, animation emerges as the primary conduit through which she breathes life into images. Yet, her artistic yearning extends beyond the digital canvas; she ardently embraces the tactile dance with materials, through traditional graphic techniques such as linocut, drypoint, and woodcut.
Su (born in 1994 in Poland) graduated from French Studies at the University of Warsaw and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland and from Graphic Communication at Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France.
