We are proud to present a solo show by the gallery artist Valo Valentino during the Berlin Art Week 2026.
The industrial touch of the Wilhelm Hallen in north of Berlin provides the ideal setting for Valoās powerful, interactive installation and aluminum wall objects.
Valo Valentino investigates the physical materialisation of invisible sound. Through a process he developed and named Stereochrom, acoustic frequencies are translated into permanent chromatic and sculptural structures. His works occupy a space between painting, sculpture and sonic composition, transforming vibration into material memory. Drawing on the histories of abstraction, color theory and musical composition, Valentino treats frequency as a generative force. The resulting works are records of events: moments in which sound, matter and human perception become inseparable.

Exhibiting Artist
Valo Valentino (*1988 in Cuernavaca, MĆ©xico)Ā explores the relationship between frequency and color wavelength. In his practice the artist aims to merge the field of music, painting and sculpture.Ā
Valo has developed a technique of stereochrome a unique artistic method of incorporating music into visual art. By exposing metal or glass surfaces covered with pigments to sonic waves, the artists engraves the patterns of the various frequencies into his artistic objects.
Valo graduated in Sculpture at Fine Art Academy in Stuttgart, DE, previously studing stone cuttery and music production. He is a 2018 laureate of the Werner-Pokorny-Stiftung Prize.Ā
