Valo Valentino (*1988 in Cuernavaca, México) explores the relationship between frequency and color wavelength. In his practice the artist aims to merge the field of music, painting and sculpture. 

Valo has developed a technique of stereochrome a unique artistic method of incorporating music into visual art. By exposing metal or glass surfaces covered with pigments to sonic waves, the artists engraves the patterns of the various frequencies into his artistic objects.

Valo graduated in Sculpture at Fine Art Academy in Stuttgart, DE, previously studing stone cuttery and music production. He is a 2018 laureate of the Werner-Pokorny-Stiftung Prize.
