Museums' Night

March 25 - 26, 2023 + extension show through March 31.

Group Exhibition

During a dedicated exhibition ECHOS, designed just for the Museums’ Night, we bring you a new dimension in multidisciplinary art. Digital artworks, video animation, expressive oil paintings, and a music installation will create a special art sensation. Under the motto Action – Reaction, artists show how every movement, physical or emotional, causes an effect.

The NFT presentation with the video ‘Rounds’ and light objects by the young emerging artist Kinga Su forms a frame of the exhibition. In her animation, Kinga shows different phases in the life of planet Earth: past, present, which humans influence in large part, and a possible future. The video image is accompanied by music composed by Davide Wang.

The light objects that are part of the exhibition highlight the different phases of life on Earth as seen in the video. The light objects as digital works, are offered as hybrid works (NFT and a physical object).

The expressive and energetic oil paintings by Eberhard Bitter show the emotions, feelings, and tensions in interpersonal relationships.

On the other hand, Alexandra JS, a young Swedish artist, deals with her own feelings. The acrylic canvases represent feelings in lyrical abstraction, a narrow branch of abstract painting that emerged from French abstract expressionism.

In addition, an experimental music installation will be set up in the EXOgallery. With the new project Echos, the young musicians Marko Mrdja, Laima Adelaide & Nils Edte deal with the natural law of sound waves. The viewers can experience the music in an interactive way by influencing which musical components are heard.

We look forward to seeing you!
